They're asking for what's called compensatory damages. In other words, [00:42.720 --> 00:49.440] half of that 1.3 billion is what Dominion Voting Systems is saying the economic damage they have [00:49.440 --> 00:55.200] sustained or will be sustaining in the future because of Sidney Powell's actions, her claims, [00:55.200 --> 00:59.040] her statements about Dominion. The other half are what are called punitive damages, [00:59.040 --> 01:04.240] which a court can award if it feels that the defendant should have known better than to go [01:04.240 --> 01:08.640] there. In other words, you knew it and you did it wrong anyway. So here's the punishment part of [01:08.640 --> 01:14.320] the judgment. One is compensatory, making the injured party whole. The other is the punishment [01:14.320 --> 01:22.560] part. I've said over and over and over again and I've demonstrated it by showing you the outcome of [01:23.200 --> 01:29.680] 54 different lawsuits by Trump and surrogates that they've had no evidence and Sidney Powell [01:29.680 --> 01:33.600] didn't have any evidence concerning Dominion either. There are a whole bunch of facts that [01:33.600 --> 01:36.960] indicate she didn't have any evidence, but I'm just going to share two with you right now. [01:37.520 --> 01:45.600] Number one, one of her Kraken lawsuits was dismissed by a judge who is a Trump appointee [01:45.600 --> 01:52.720] and he excoriated Powell in his decision where he was dismissing the case for bringing an action [01:52.720 --> 01:57.360] where she was claiming all these various things in the petition in the original filing, but for [01:57.360 --> 02:04.160] which one the court asked her to present evidence, she had none. So that's a court saying in its [02:04.160 --> 02:10.480] official published opinion, you had no evidence, Sidney Powell. The second one is Fox News, [02:10.480 --> 02:15.600] who in raw numbers probably has more Trump supporters viewing that network than any other [02:15.600 --> 02:22.480] network in the world, reached out to Sidney Powell at one point and said, can we have your evidence [02:22.480 --> 02:32.160] please? Sidney Powell said to Fox, yeah, because she doesn't have any. Dominion sent Sidney Powell [02:32.160 --> 02:36.320] a cease and desist letter. They said you are defaming us. You're making false claims, [02:36.320 --> 02:44.560] false allegations. Stop it. Sidney Powell tweeted right after that. Oh, I hear there's a letter, [02:44.560 --> 02:50.560] but I'm not walking back anything. I stand by my claims. All right, now you can stand by your [02:50.560 --> 02:57.360] claims to the tune of $1.3 billion. I think the part I like most about this suit is that Dominion [02:57.360 --> 03:03.200] CEO said not interested in the settlement. If Powell were to offer us a gang of money, [03:03.200 --> 03:09.840] we're not interested. We want to go to trial. We want to show in this defamation trial that she [03:09.840 --> 03:16.320] said all these horrible defamatory things about us and she has no evidence to back it up. That's [03:16.320 --> 03:22.480] what the CEO's point is, that he wants to drag her ass into court and prove in front of the world [03:22.480 --> 03:29.120] that she had no evidence, which I've been telling you. And a judge appointed by Trump was telling [03:29.120 --> 03:34.400] you. And Fox News and the anecdote I shared with you there, that's pretty much an admission. There's [03:34.400 --> 03:42.960] no evidence. So now we get to see Powell show up in a civil case where she's the defendant [03:42.960 --> 03:49.680] with no evidence. And by the way, I can't wait for this because I've been telling you all along [03:49.680 --> 03:55.680] she was an opportunist. She was lying and she had no evidence. So now the chicken's coming home to [03:55.680 --> 04:02.480] roost and I'm stoked. Am I stoked because she's pro-Trump and I'm not a Trump guy? No, not at all. Even the Trump legal team, not exactly known for its honesty and integrity, got rid of [04:14.560 --> 04:18.480] her, fired her and then made a public statement. She's no longer with us. Okay. And then she abused [04:26.480 --> 04:33.200] the courts in order to further her propaganda and her lies because what she would do is she'd write [04:33.200 --> 04:37.920] up the initial filing, the petition. She'd file it with the court and then she'd put it online and [04:37.920 --> 04:42.880] say, oh, look at what I'm saying in court. The fact that when the judge said, okay, that's cool. Now [04:42.880 --> 04:48.720] let me see the evidence. She had none. That part, the people who followed her never even think [04:48.720 --> 04:52.880] to go that little bit further to see if Powell had any evidence. So yeah, I'm stoked that somebody [04:52.880 --> 05:02.160] who lied to the entire nation, completely evidence-free, is going to get what she's to do. And right now I want to say that all of those things were false. Okay. Normally, [05:25.760 --> 05:33.200] almost the laws of almost all 50 states, if you issue that written notice, then the lawsuit [05:33.200 --> 05:37.520] must come to a stop because there is no longer a cause of action. However, since Dominion [05:42.960 --> 05:48.560] already sent her a cease and desist letter and she kept on, I don't know how that, I haven't [05:48.560 --> 05:53.200] taken the time to go research. I don't know how that works, whether she has forever lost that [05:53.920 --> 05:58.480] outdoor to exit from this suit. I don't know. We're going to see soon enough, I'm sure. [05:58.480 --> 06:03.280] But things are going to get even more interesting because Dominion didn't just send a cease and [06:03.280 --> 06:10.320] desist letter to Powell. They sent it to 30 other persons who were doing the same crap that Powell [06:10.320 --> 06:16.240] was doing, including Donald Trump at the White House. I don't know if this is going to happen, [06:16.240 --> 06:21.280] but I want to be clear that it is completely within the realm of legal possibility that any [06:21.280 --> 06:32.080] time afternoon on June 20th, Dominion can amend its complaint to include Donald Trump in that 1.3 [06:32.640 --> 06:37.680] billion-dollar lawsuit. And by adding Trump, they would obviously increase their claim of damages. [06:38.240 --> 06:43.360] Who else they may eventually sue separately or add to this lawsuit, we'll have to wait and see.
