Every outlet from CNN to small local stations, bloggers, health and [01:47.200 --> 01:52.440] wellness internet sites ran the story. The story was about a scientific study. [01:53.280 --> 02:00.120] Would it surprise you to learn there is no study? Only a press release about a [02:00.120 --> 02:05.600] study no one has ever seen. In today's presentation, one of the big questions is [02:05.600 --> 02:10.080] how many Americans believe in the media stories about what the study said, [02:10.080 --> 02:15.920] despite there being no study, merely a press release. I say there is no study [02:15.920 --> 02:19.560] because it hasn't been published. Hundreds of media outlets ran a story [02:19.560 --> 02:24.800] about an unpublished study. Phrased another way, they ran articles about a [02:24.800 --> 02:29.800] study they've never seen. Because 9 out of 10 studies are never published, this [02:29.800 --> 02:34.160] one may also never be published. Since it's fake science, by that I mean [02:34.160 --> 02:37.680] industry propaganda masquerading as science, and a mere press release [02:37.680 --> 02:41.320] accomplished the goal of the propaganda getting out to hundreds of millions of [02:41.320 --> 02:46.320] people. Why release the study and have it discredited? Why did I want you to hear [02:46.320 --> 02:50.600] those parts of that earlier presentation? I wanted you to see it because not only [02:50.600 --> 02:54.820] is it the same MO being used in the current situation, but it's becoming the [02:54.820 --> 02:59.520] established method for corrupt institutions and the media to spread [02:59.520 --> 03:04.440] disinformation. While I'm using the word disinformation, it's really [03:04.440 --> 03:09.560] malinformation. The definition of malinformation is disinformation that is [03:09.560 --> 03:15.160] intended to do harm, and that's certainly the case here. The disinformation we're [03:15.160 --> 03:19.480] discussing today is intended to increase your odds of becoming diseased or [03:19.480 --> 03:25.240] continuing to be diseased if you already are. These institutions have a powerful [03:25.240 --> 03:30.360] financial incentive for you to become diseased or to remain diseased. That [03:30.360 --> 03:35.000] powerful incentive is if you learn the truth and get amazingly healthy, as [03:35.000 --> 03:38.840] happens to 100% of those who apply what they learn in body science, these [03:38.840 --> 03:46.040] institutions will go broke. They will literally cease to exist. With that under [03:46.040 --> 03:50.600] our belts, from where did the current disinformation come and what does it say? [03:50.600 --> 03:55.640] The disinformation was presented at an American Heart Association conference [03:55.640 --> 04:01.760] named Epidemiology, Prevention, Lifestyle, and Cardiometabolic Health and claims [04:01.760 --> 04:06.600] that people who engage in intermittent fasting have a 91% increased chance of [04:06.600 --> 04:10.200] having a heart attack than those who don't engage in intermittent fasting. [04:10.200 --> 04:14.320] Would you be surprised to learn that despite the media spreading this [04:14.320 --> 04:19.840] disinformation across the globe, no one has ever seen this study because it [04:19.840 --> 04:27.880] hasn't been released. The media is, yet again, reporting on a press release about [04:27.880 --> 04:33.360] a study no one has seen, showing a complete lack of journalistic integrity. [04:33.800 --> 04:38.880] Not one of the media outlets spewing this disinformation has revealed to their [04:38.880 --> 04:43.920] readers or viewers that they are reporting on a study no one has seen. One [04:43.920 --> 04:47.640] might think it's unethical for a reporter to write an article about a [04:47.640 --> 04:53.720] study he or she has not seen. One might consider it unethical on steroids to [04:53.720 --> 04:58.240] not inform viewers or readers that the person who wrote the article has not [04:58.240 --> 05:02.600] seen the study. As I mentioned in the earlier presentation, this study will [05:02.600 --> 05:06.280] never be released because if it was it would be factually destroyed within [05:06.280 --> 05:10.040] hours. And the purpose of the press release has already been accomplished. [05:10.040 --> 05:15.480] The purpose was to have the media spread the disinformation that behavior, [05:15.480 --> 05:21.760] significantly improving all risk factors for a cardiac event, actually increases [05:21.760 --> 05:26.920] your odds of having a cardiac event. The [05:48.680 --> 05:52.760] most common form of intermittent fasting is called 16-8, which means a person [05:52.760 --> 05:57.800] allows themselves an eight-hour eating window each day and does not eat during [05:57.800 --> 06:02.560] the other 16 hours of the day. Not only is 16-8 the most common method of [06:02.560 --> 06:06.240] intermittent fasting, it is also the method referenced in the press release [06:06.240 --> 06:11.480] about this study no one has ever seen. Let's examine a quick list of cardiac [06:11.480 --> 06:17.160] event risk factors. Those risk factors are hypertension, high triglycerides, [06:17.160 --> 06:24.680] diabetes, and obesity. Let's read those again. Hypertension, high triglycerides, [06:24.680 --> 06:31.280] diabetes, and obesity. What factors does intermittent fasting impact? [06:31.280 --> 06:38.040] Intermittent fasting significantly reduces hypertension, high triglycerides, [06:38.040 --> 06:46.520] diabetes, and obesity. Yet somehow we are expected to believe that significantly [06:46.520 --> 06:50.840] lowering or completely eradicating the primary risk factors for heart attack [06:50.840 --> 06:58.920] makes you a whopping 91% more likely to have a heart attack. So what gives? Why is [06:58.920 --> 07:03.500] the American Heart Association spreading blatant disinformation? As mentioned [07:03.500 --> 07:09.080] earlier, it's all about the money. If Americans got healthy, the American Heart [07:09.080 --> 07:13.120] Association is out of business. Three weeks ago I released a presentation [07:13.120 --> 07:18.040] about Livestrong.com running an article in which they said that eating less than [07:18.040 --> 07:24.080] 20 grams of carbohydrates a day, and I quote Livestrong here, can be life [07:24.080 --> 07:31.840] threatening. In other words, [07:45.560 --> 07:49.240] Sheehan is saying that if you reduce your carbohydrate intake to 20 grams a [07:49.240 --> 08:01.920] day or less, you could die. Oh my god. So what is Sheehan really talking about when [08:01.920 --> 08:08.440] she says it's life-threatening? Sheehan is referring to ketoacidosis, which has [08:08.440 --> 08:13.400] zero to do with the nutritional state of ketosis. Ketosis is the state in which [08:13.520 --> 08:18.000] mankind lived from birth till death for millions of years and is the way our [08:18.000 --> 08:23.440] hundred trillion cells of our body are programmed to function, while ketoacidosis [08:23.440 --> 08:27.880] is a pathological condition generally resulting from a type 1 diabetic [08:27.880 --> 08:33.040] failing to take his or her insulin. Phrased another way, ketosis is the most [08:33.040 --> 08:38.000] natural way for humans to exist and produces incredible health, while [08:38.000 --> 08:42.960] ketoacidosis is the result of having a life-threatening disease to begin with [08:43.320 --> 08:47.000] and then not being responsible about taking the drug that keeps you alive. [08:47.360 --> 08:52.000] Literally, the only thing ketosis and ketoacidosis have in common is that the [08:52.000 --> 08:57.680] first four letters of each of their names is K-E-T-O. And yet somehow, [08:57.680 --> 09:03.440] Krista Sheehan, an RN, and supposedly a professional health writer, conflated [09:03.440 --> 09:08.560] two completely unrelated conditions simply because they both begin with the [09:08.560 --> 09:14.040] same four letters. Does anyone really think Livestrong doesn't know the [09:14.040 --> 09:18.640] difference between ketosis and ketoacidosis? Of course they know. [09:43.520 --> 09:48.320] People in ketosis have zero lifestyle chronic diseases such as hypertension, [09:48.320 --> 09:51.920] obesity or diabetes, and don't have high triglycerides. [11:33.440 --> 11:36.640] On the matter of living in ketosis, I'll simply inform you that ketosis [11:36.640 --> 11:40.440] is the healthiest state in which humans can exist. [11:40.960 --> 11:45.240] Because of that reality, it's actually ketosis the American Heart Association [11:45.240 --> 11:48.560] and others are attacking, even if the current propaganda mentions [11:48.560 --> 11:50.720] things like intermittent fasting. [11:50.720 --> 11:53.520] Why is ketosis the real target? [11:53.520 --> 11:57.280] Ketosis is the target because the American people discovering [11:57.280 --> 11:59.840] the astounding health benefits of living in ketosis [12:00.480 --> 12:05.960] is an existential threat to big pharma, big med and big food. [12:07.160 --> 12:09.880] All of which fund the American Heart Association. [12:09.880 --> 12:14.840] So why attack intermittent fasting if ketosis is the real target?
