As you may be aware, I don't know what it was, maybe two weeks ago, [00:06.000 --> 00:14.000] YouTube deplatformed my channel. I can't even begin to tell you how many hundreds of videos [00:14.000 --> 00:22.000] just disappear in the blink of an eye. Now I have a lot of those archived, the finished products, [00:22.000 --> 00:28.000] but sadly not all of them. Now people have said to me, oh my God, what happened to this video [00:28.000 --> 00:33.000] and that video and the other video that were on YouTube? They were really helpful and really great [00:33.000 --> 00:39.000] and we used them repeatedly to show people this fact or this law or this science. So I was going [00:39.000 --> 00:47.000] through some of the old archives from 2018 and I found one that I thought was really interesting [00:47.000 --> 00:54.000] and it deals with me actually going down and meeting with the IRS. As you're probably aware, [00:54.000 --> 00:58.000] I'm the author of Income Tax Shattering the Mist and I haven't filed income tax returns or paid income [00:58.000 --> 01:05.000] tax since 1993. Income Tax Shattering the Mist is the best-selling book telling the truth about the [01:05.000 --> 01:12.000] income tax in the country. So back in my early days, if the IRS was like, hey, we want you to come [01:12.000 --> 01:18.000] down and talk to us, I was like, yeah, man, absolutely. Let's have it out. Let's talk. Let's [01:18.000 --> 01:24.000] lay the law on the table and see where that comes out. So I found a video which I described one of [01:24.000 --> 01:30.000] those encounters and I wanted to share it with you today. I'm Dave Champion. Most of you who've been [01:30.000 --> 01:34.000] following me for any length of time probably know that I'm the author of Income Tax Shattering the [01:34.000 --> 01:43.000] Mist, but I've never really shared any stories with you about the early days, my battles with the IRS. [01:44.000 --> 01:48.000] Some of them are downright hysterical and I thought I'd share one with you today. [01:55.000 --> 02:00.000] Let me start by giving you the background and framework. I'm guessing what I'm about to share with you [02:00.000 --> 02:07.000] probably took place in 97-ish. Hard for me to remember all those years back, but I'm pretty sure it was [02:07.000 --> 02:14.000] right in about that range. And the context was an IRS agent had sent me a letter and said, we'd like [02:14.000 --> 02:21.000] you to come down and talk to us. Okay. I know most people, they would want to run for the hills when [02:21.000 --> 02:25.000] they got such a letter, but me, I'm like, I know what the law says. Yeah, I'll be happy to come down [02:25.000 --> 02:31.000] and talk with you. So I did. I drove all the way down to 300 North Los Angeles Street, which back then [02:31.000 --> 02:40.000] pre-911 was the main federal agency building. So I show up there and I always had a protocol that I [02:40.000 --> 02:46.000] followed whenever I knew I was going to be talking to an IRS employee. And that is I would take a tape [02:46.000 --> 02:53.000] recorder with cassette tapes. Remember what year this was, right? So there was no dispute about who [02:53.000 --> 02:59.000] said what and how it was said. And then I would take a witness. And the reason I would take a witness [02:59.000 --> 03:05.000] is in case later I had to produce a copy of the recording and the government said, oh, you edited [03:05.000 --> 03:10.000] that recording. I have a real live witness who would say, no, I was in the room and the tape isn't [03:10.000 --> 03:17.000] edited. It's exactly what was said. Okay. So I show up in the IRS office and I asked to speak to this [03:17.000 --> 03:29.000] IRS employee. And the guy comes out and he's probably like 6'5", like 320 pounds, big black dude, [03:29.000 --> 03:35.000] shoved into a suit, right? I mean, it looked like he was bulging out everywhere from the seat. He seemed [03:35.000 --> 03:41.000] to me to be in his late 20s. We all shake hands and introductions go around. And then we head off to [03:41.000 --> 03:46.000] one of the IRS meeting rooms. Now, these meeting rooms are very sterile. It's almost like a police [03:46.000 --> 03:52.000] station interview room, just four walls, a steel table and a couple of steel chairs and that's it. [03:52.000 --> 03:59.000] So we all get comfortable in the room. And this gigantic IRS agent who looked like he was like the [03:59.000 --> 04:10.000] front line from UCLA or something, right? He puts three forms 1040 on the table. He says, I want you [04:10.000 --> 04:23.000] to sign these. Why would I do that? Okay. So, I mean, I know the law. So the question is, why would I [04:23.000 --> 04:27.000] do that? In fact, not only do I know I'm not the person upon whom Congress is maybe liable, [04:27.000 --> 04:31.000] especially using a form 1040, but I also know I'd be committing a federal crime. I'm committing [04:31.000 --> 04:36.000] perjury to attest on that 1040. I am that guy when I know I'm not that guy, right? So, but I'm not [04:36.000 --> 04:40.000] going to get into all that with him. He doesn't know any of that. He's just a functionary, right? [04:40.000 --> 04:47.000] So I said, why would I do that? And he says, well, you need to... I said, okay, so I don't know if you [04:47.000 --> 04:51.000] want to debate the law. I don't want to debate the law with you. I know the law. Yeah. Okay. [04:51.000 --> 04:56.000] Whatever, dude. So we're back to why would I do that? Because your understanding of the law is [04:56.000 --> 05:04.000] propaganda and my understanding of the law is actually the law. So why would I do that? So he [05:05.000 --> 05:13.000] responds and says, you're going to sign these returns because if you don't, I'm going to take every [05:13.000 --> 05:17.000] single thing you own from you. [05:17.000 --> 05:34.000] I looked at him and I said, no, you're not because you can't. And if you could, you wouldn't be [05:34.000 --> 05:39.000] wasting your time sitting here with me trying to get me to sign these returns. You'd already be [05:39.000 --> 05:43.000] taking all my shit. So yeah, no, don't even go there, dude. I don't know whether what I'm about to [05:43.000 --> 05:49.000] share with you was actual emotion on his part or whether he was acting, whether he determined in his [05:49.000 --> 05:54.000] life earlier that being 6'5 and like 320 pounds, he could use that to his advantage to intimidate [05:54.000 --> 05:58.000] people. I don't know what the story was. But the next thing is he stands up, he takes his [05:58.000 --> 06:05.000] ham hawk of a hand and he slams it on the steel table. Boom! And the whole fucking steel table [06:05.000 --> 06:11.000] jumps in the air. I'm not kidding. It like bounces up. And he says, you're going to sign these [06:11.000 --> 06:22.000] returns right now! I'm looking at my witness. I'm like, dude, sit down. You're making an ass of [06:22.000 --> 06:30.000] yourself. And he sat down. And again, I couldn't read him. I didn't know whether, again, that was [06:30.000 --> 06:36.000] an act or whether it was truly an emotion he was experiencing because he tried option A and that [06:36.000 --> 06:41.000] failed miserably. He tried option B and that failed miserably. So maybe he was literally [06:41.000 --> 06:46.000] emotionally upset and tried to intimidate me. I don't know. But nevertheless, when I told him [06:46.000 --> 06:51.000] you're making an ass of yourself, sit down, dude. He did. And of course all this is on the recording, [06:51.000 --> 06:56.000] the slamming of the ham hawk on the table. The recorder was on the table so I'm pretty sure you [06:56.000 --> 07:03.000] hear the table jumping up in the air, right? And then he says to me, he calmly says to me, [07:03.000 --> 07:12.000] says to me, Mr. Champion, you're not here to cooperate, are you? He said in sort of a menacing [07:12.000 --> 07:18.000] tone, right? And I said, well, it depends on what you mean by cooperate. Cooperate as far as [07:18.000 --> 07:23.000] obedience to the law? Yeah, absolutely. I'm here for that. That's why I'm here to talk to you so we [07:23.000 --> 07:28.000] can discuss this and I can show you what the law really says. If you mean I'm here to cooperate [07:28.000 --> 07:35.000] with the bullshit you're making up, then no, I'm not here to cooperate. And that was pretty much [07:35.000 --> 07:42.000] the end of the meeting. I don't know whether he just determined that there was no purpose, no reason [07:42.000 --> 07:48.000] to go further, or whether he had enough of me. I don't know what the reason was. But nevertheless, [07:48.000 --> 07:52.000] at that point, he said this meeting is over. The IRS, just as you see from this story, is all about [07:52.000 --> 07:59.000] blustered intimidation. So why was I so comfortable going down there and calling it like it went down? [07:59.000 --> 08:04.000] Just here you go, dude. I'm just going to tell you exactly what's in here. It's got to come right out. [08:04.000 --> 08:12.000] If you don't like it, screw you. So why? Because I know the law. And you know, the funny thing is, [08:12.000 --> 08:19.000] the law isn't really that difficult to understand. Not difficult at all, as a matter of fact. What it [08:19.000 --> 08:25.000] is, is it's difficult to discern. It's difficult to locate. It's difficult to take a constellation [08:25.000 --> 08:30.000] of 1,700 different things and pull them all together in a reasonable manner. When you have a life, [08:30.000 --> 08:35.000] you've got kids, you've got a job, you've got recreational things you love to do. Who has the time for that, [08:35.000 --> 08:43.000] right? Well, I was very fortunate at that time. I owned a business, and I had a gentleman who handled [08:43.000 --> 08:50.000] most of the field work for that business. And that allowed me a great amount of time to spend a research. [08:50.000 --> 08:58.000] And that research in 2010, after 17 years, resulted in income tax shattering the best. So I share this big [08:58.000 --> 09:03.000] story with you to let you know that that's how confident you can be. In fact, I mean, I did it just because [09:03.000 --> 09:09.000] it's me, but you may consider it cocky. But if you know the law and if you have the facts, you can speak [09:09.000 --> 09:19.000] the same exact way to them. That video always makes me laugh because the IRS, they're such bozos. [09:19.000 --> 09:27.000] And if you know the law, as I just stated, you can talk to them the same way, but you have to know the [09:27.000 --> 09:32.000] law. So I want to encourage you to go to DrReality.News, grab yourself a copy of Income Tax Shattering the [09:32.000 --> 09:40.000] Best. People have often described it as a page turner. It's like a mystery. It's a whodunit. You know when [09:40.000 --> 09:46.000] you begin the book, whodunit, but exactly how it's been done and exactly how they've rolled this thing out [09:46.000 --> 09:56.000] from 1913 forward. And then you get to see, aha, the legislation says it doesn't apply to the ordinary [09:56.000 --> 10:02.000] American. Aha, the regulations say it doesn't apply to the ordinary Americans. The Supreme Court says [10:02.000 --> 10:08.000] it doesn't apply to the American people. Internal IRS documents that the IRS never thought the public [10:08.000 --> 10:14.000] would get their hands on, and I did, says the income tax was never imposed on the ordinary American [10:14.000 --> 10:19.000] who gets up, gets the kids off to school, has a cup of coffee, goes out, does whatever they do for a living [10:20.000 --> 10:28.000] and gets some money. Yeah, Congress never imposed the income tax on that person. And in the 400 pages [10:28.000 --> 10:34.000] of Income Tax Shattering the Best, through this whodunit, this mystery that's so intriguing and [10:34.000 --> 10:39.000] interesting, I literally know people who tell me, oh yeah, I've read it four or five times because I enjoy [10:39.000 --> 10:45.000] it so much. Even though it's a history and law book, it's written in a way that's appealing. And then [10:46.000 --> 10:52.000] when you're done, you are the expert in the room. And it doesn't matter with whom you're in the room. [10:52.000 --> 10:56.000] It doesn't matter whether it's an accountant. It doesn't matter whether it's a CPA. It doesn't matter [10:56.000 --> 11:02.000] whether it's a CFO. It doesn't matter whether it's a tax attorney. Once you have finished income tax [11:02.000 --> 11:12.000] shattering the myths, you are the expert in the room. And if you so choose, your choice, if you so choose, [11:12.000 --> 11:21.000] you can simply exit the income tax system. But don't ever, ever, ever, ever, ever try that until you've [11:21.000 --> 11:27.000] actually read and understand the law, which you will at the conclusion of Income Tax Shattering the [11:27.000 --> 11:33.000] Myths. So head over to DrReality.News. Pick yourself up a copy. While you're there, at least have a [11:33.000 --> 11:39.000] look at Body Science. Maybe purchase them both. Body Science does the same thing concerning human [11:39.000 --> 11:44.000] physiology, most specifically with an emphasis towards nutritional metabolism, that side of our [11:44.000 --> 11:50.000] physiology. The reason that America is the most ill society in the history of the world at this time, [11:50.000 --> 11:57.000] there is no society in all of mankind's history that has ever been more ill than the American people. [11:57.000 --> 12:01.000] And the reason is the same as the income tax because you've been lied to and you haven't seen the [12:01.000 --> 12:06.000] actual real physiology. Now I'm not blaming you. You've been lied to and you've been lied to so that [12:06.000 --> 12:13.000] various industries, which are today trillion dollar industries, can continue to profit as Americans [12:13.000 --> 12:21.000] become sick and die, and in many cases die decades premature to how they would otherwise die. So if [12:21.000 --> 12:26.000] that appeals to you, that you actually want to know the truth about that, grab yourself a copy of Body [12:26.000 --> 12:32.000] Science as well, Income Tax Shattering the Myths and Body Science. And by doing that, not only do you [12:32.000 --> 12:37.000] get this fabulous information, not only are you empowered, not only do you help yourself, but you also [12:37.000 --> 12:42.000] help me to be able to remain here for you. Thank you.
