[00:51.000 --> 01:03.000]  In your mind, what is the charge that you think could be brought against the men who went to Epstein's Island and allegedly had sex with underage girls?
[01:03.000 --> 01:08.000]  Let me start by telling you the charge could not be rape.
[01:08.000 --> 01:21.000]  And the reason is there are no allegations of force, intimidation, nor did any of those men hold what the law recognizes as positions of authority over those girls.
[01:21.000 --> 01:26.000]  So then, if not rape, what?
[01:26.000 --> 01:34.000]  The answer is one charge and one charge only. And that charge is statutory rape.
[01:34.000 --> 01:42.000]  Which, in the big scope of all the criminal charges that are out there in the world, statutory rape is not a particularly meaningful charge.
[01:42.000 --> 01:48.000]  Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying that there's no harm or ill done in certain cases of statutory rape.
[01:48.000 --> 01:55.000]  I'm just saying in the big scope of all the crimes that are out there, charging a billionaire with statutory rape isn't really going to make much of a difference.
[01:55.000 --> 02:02.000]  This I get to the second part. And none of them is ever going to be charged with statutory rape.
[02:02.000 --> 02:08.000]  And again, it's not a conspiracy theory. It's not because they're wealthy and powerful. It's because of the law.
[02:08.000 --> 02:18.000]  You are probably aware that the government has the burden of proof to prove every single element against the defendant when it brings a criminal charge.
[02:18.000 --> 02:24.000]  The defendant need do nothing. The defendant can just sit back and calmly do nothing.
[02:24.000 --> 02:30.000]  The government has the burden to prove every single element.
[02:30.000 --> 02:40.000]  And of course, when it comes to statutory rape, the key element is that the alleged perpetrator knew the girl was underage.
[02:40.000 --> 02:46.000]  So let me tell you how this is going to go down. There isn't going to be any investigation whatsoever.
[02:47.000 --> 02:57.000]  You may think so. You may want one. You may be confident I'm wrong, but I'm here to tell you there's not going to be any investigation whatsoever concerning charges of statutory rape.
[02:57.000 --> 03:02.000]  Here's why. All the men who engage in those actions are incredibly wealthy.
[03:02.000 --> 03:07.000]  Investigators are not going to be able to sit down and talk to them without counsel sitting there.
[03:07.000 --> 03:14.000]  And in that situation, these very, very wealthy men are going to do one or two things.
[03:14.000 --> 03:18.000]  Either they're going to make a statement to investigators and they're going to say,
[03:19.000 --> 03:27.000]  Jeffrey Epstein confirmed to me that the girl I had sex with was over 18.
[03:27.000 --> 03:34.000]  He confirmed that to me before I engaged with that young woman and had sex.
[03:34.000 --> 03:38.000]  Now, of course, Jeffrey Epstein is dead.
[03:38.000 --> 03:48.000]  So who is there that's going to dispute that statement that Epstein told the man, assured the man, confirmed with the man?
[03:48.000 --> 03:52.000]  Yeah, she looks young. I already checked, vetted the whole thing. She's over 18.
[03:52.000 --> 03:56.000]  Is there anyone who can dispute that?
[03:56.000 --> 03:59.000]  And the second option, of course, very common.
[03:59.000 --> 04:02.000]  Counsel is just going to say, I advise you not to say anything.
[04:02.000 --> 04:10.000]  And then the investigators are left to try and prove that the man or men knew the girls were underage.
[04:10.000 --> 04:14.000]  And how would they go about proving that the men knew?
[04:14.000 --> 04:19.000]  Now, I'm going to suggest because the attorneys who work for the very, very wealthy are not stupid.
[04:19.000 --> 04:25.000]  I'm going to suggest that virtually every single if there was going to be an investigation, which there isn't, I'll get to that in a minute.
[04:25.000 --> 04:36.000]  Every single one of the attorneys will recommend that their clients say, Jeffrey Epstein told me, assured me, confirmed to me that the girl was over the age of legal consent.
[04:36.000 --> 04:46.000]  The reason for that is that while the courts have held that being mistaken about a girl's age does not mitigate criminal liability,
[04:46.000 --> 04:54.000]  if you were told straight up without equivocation, she is of legal age of consent,
[04:54.000 --> 04:58.000]  then there's absolutely no way for the government to show anything to the contrary.
[04:58.000 --> 05:07.000]  And if the government can't show anything to the contrary, it can't prove in a court of law the single key element,
[05:07.000 --> 05:13.000]  which is that the alleged statutory rapist knew that the girl was under 18.
[05:13.000 --> 05:18.000]  To be clear, I'm not saying that what these men would say or what their attorneys would say.
[05:18.000 --> 05:21.000]  I'm not saying that it's factual, that it's truthful.
[05:21.000 --> 05:29.000]  I'm saying that once those words are uttered, unless the government can prove otherwise, it's over.
[05:29.000 --> 05:31.000]  It's done. There is no case.
[05:31.000 --> 05:35.000]  And that is why there's not going to be an investigation.
[05:36.000 --> 05:39.000]  This took place in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
[05:39.000 --> 05:46.000]  And the U.S. Virgin Islands has, like all, I mean, with their population a bit over 106,000.
[05:46.000 --> 05:49.000]  So they've got a decent sized police department.
[05:49.000 --> 05:54.000]  They've got some detectives there, some investigators who have been around the block many, many times, and they're pretty savvy.
[05:54.000 --> 05:55.000]  They know their job.
[05:55.000 --> 06:03.000]  And as they're sitting there thinking through, do I want to investigate this potential case of statutory rape?
[06:03.000 --> 06:06.000]  They know exactly what you and I just talked about.
[06:06.000 --> 06:12.000]  They know, first of all, their access to these men is going to be incredibly limited.
[06:12.000 --> 06:18.000]  And since none of them live in the Virgin Islands, that means these guys are going to be jetting all over the country, perhaps all over the world.
[06:18.000 --> 06:21.000]  To be told, thank you for coming, officer.
[06:21.000 --> 06:29.000]  Jeffrey Epstein told me, confirmed to me, assured me that the girl I had sex with was over the age of legal consent.
[06:29.000 --> 06:33.000]  I asked, and he absolutely told me he had already vetted it and he knew it for a fact.
[06:33.000 --> 06:38.000]  At that point, there is no criminal case.
[06:38.000 --> 06:47.000]  And every investigator in the Virgin Islands, and probably every investigator on the planet, knows that's exactly how that's going to wind up.
[06:47.000 --> 06:58.000]  When you've got thousand dollar an hour attorneys sitting right here next to the alleged statutory rape perpetrators, the case is going to evaporate.
[06:58.000 --> 07:05.000]  Now, why do I keep talking about the U.S. Virgin Islands Police Department rather than the FBI?
[07:05.000 --> 07:09.000]  Because, of course, we know the FBI raided his property.
[07:09.000 --> 07:16.000]  But that's dealing with trafficking and whatever other thoughts that the FBI might have on crimes that Epstein committed.
[07:16.000 --> 07:18.000]  But those are federal offenses.
[07:18.000 --> 07:21.000]  Statutory rape is not.
[07:22.000 --> 07:25.000]  Statutory rape is a state crime.
[07:25.000 --> 07:33.000]  And concerning the distinctions between federal crimes and state crimes, the possessions and territories are for that purpose considered states.
[07:33.000 --> 07:40.000]  And statutory rape falls within the jurisdiction of the state of the U.S. Virgin Islands.
[07:40.000 --> 07:50.000]  And the FBI has precisely zero jurisdiction to conduct any investigation of an alleged statutory rape taking place in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
[07:50.000 --> 07:58.000]  Or in California or Missouri or Florida, FBI has zero jurisdiction over a statutory rape claim.
[07:58.000 --> 08:01.000]  That's why I haven't been talking about the FBI.
[08:01.000 --> 08:04.000]  I've been talking exclusively about the U.S. Virgin Islands Police.
[08:04.000 --> 08:10.000]  Keeping in mind that the U.S. Virgin Islands Police do have some savvy investigators and they know all the things we've just been talking about.
[08:11.000 --> 08:21.000]  How anxious do we think the U.S. Virgin Islands Police are to engage, to create, to start, to open an investigation and pursue it,
[08:21.000 --> 08:28.000]  knowing from moment one it's going to come to zero, nothing.
[08:28.000 --> 08:32.000]  Absolutely no desire to do that. And they're not going to and they haven't.
[08:32.000 --> 08:47.000]  What if somebody in law enforcement is surreptitiously creating a list of potential alleged perpetrators and at some point releases that list to the media?
[08:47.000 --> 08:50.000]  Well, there's one of two things that's going to happen there.
[08:50.000 --> 09:03.000]  Number one, the leaker is not going to divulge his or her identity because that would absolutely utterly destroy his or her career and open him or her up to criminal prosecution.
[09:03.000 --> 09:10.000]  What is far more likely is that kind of a list would be leaked without attribution or which the source would not take credit.
[09:10.000 --> 09:22.000]  In that case, essentially what you'd have is a list of people who were at Epstein's Island who some unknown person asserts these guys might have had sex with underage girls.
[09:22.000 --> 09:24.000]  That's pretty meaningless.
[09:24.000 --> 09:31.000]  Then on the very, very outside chance that the person actually stepped forward and said, I'm the person who released the list and was interviewed by the media,
[09:31.000 --> 09:44.000]  a person would have to admit to the entire world that he or she has zero evidence that those men knew the girls they were having sex with were underage.
[09:44.000 --> 09:47.000]  Once that admission comes out, how meaningful is that list?
[09:47.000 --> 09:50.000]  The main thrust of this presentation, of course, is the criminal side.
[09:50.000 --> 10:05.000]  And as I just discussed, there is absolutely no chance that there are going to be any criminal charges for statutory rape against any of the men that may have had sex on that island with underage girls.
[10:05.000 --> 10:10.000]  But what if the evidentiary landscape changed?
[10:10.000 --> 10:19.000]  What if recordings suddenly became available that showed Epstein informed the men that the girls were underage?
[10:19.000 --> 10:26.000]  And then the evidence indicated that after Epstein made that disclosure to the men, the men went ahead and had sex with them.
[10:26.000 --> 10:30.000]  Yeah, that would be an entirely different ballgame.
[10:30.000 --> 10:33.000]  Then you would see people being arrested and prosecuted.
[10:33.000 --> 10:36.000]  However, don't hold your breath.
[10:36.000 --> 10:40.000]  The reason is, as I sit here talking to you, that's like a fantasy tale.
[10:40.000 --> 10:51.000]  Do you know how much evidence exists that any such recordings exist where Epstein would have said that and then it would show evidence that the men after knowing the girls were underage had sex with them?
[10:51.000 --> 10:55.000]  Do you know how much evidence exists that such recordings exist?
[10:55.000 --> 10:59.000]  If you said zero, you'd be absolutely correct.
[10:59.000 --> 11:09.000]  Now, I hear a lot of people on social media saying that when the FBI raided Epstein's property, they seized a bunch of recordings showing the kind of things we're talking about.
[11:09.000 --> 11:17.000]  So when you see stuff like that on social media, how much evidence is there that those statements are factual?
[11:17.000 --> 11:19.000]  Again, that would be zero.
[11:19.000 --> 11:30.000]  There's absolutely no evidence that the FBI, when they raided Epstein's property, seized any recordings of any men having sex with underage girls, no less having known that they were underage girls at the time.
[11:30.000 --> 11:33.000]  Now, I'm not saying that there are no such recordings.
[11:33.000 --> 11:35.000]  I'm not saying that the FBI doesn't possess such recordings.
[11:35.000 --> 11:43.000]  All I'm telling you is there's absolutely zero evidence on the planet Earth that either of those claims is factual.
