[00:44.680 --> 00:48.840]  Imagine a virus is going around, we'll call it the Schmegel virus.
[00:48.840 --> 00:55.320]  And so Big Pharma decides they're going to create a vaccine for the Schmegel virus.
[00:55.320 --> 00:59.360]  So they do their work and eventually they come out with a vaccine.
[00:59.360 --> 01:02.400]  And now they're going to trial the vaccine.
[01:02.400 --> 01:06.800]  So in the study, they have a study group.
[01:06.800 --> 01:09.100]  People in that group will say thousands of people.
[01:09.100 --> 01:16.560]  People in that group are given the Big Pharma vaccine against Schmegel virus.
[01:16.560 --> 01:20.440]  The control group is given a placebo shot.
[01:20.440 --> 01:25.360]  At the end of six months, they compare the study group with the control group and they
[01:25.360 --> 01:35.320]  find out that the percentage of each group infected with the Schmegel virus is identical.
[01:35.320 --> 01:42.760]  Getting the actual vaccine or getting a placebo made absolutely no difference in the number
[01:43.760 --> 01:48.640]  the group or the percentage of people in the group infected by the Schmegel virus.
[01:48.640 --> 01:55.560]  Would you say the Schmegel vaccine works, that it's effective?
[01:55.560 --> 01:57.920]  Now let's take this scenario a little bit further.

[03:01.640 --> 03:04.120]  And Ms. Farrer said,
[03:09.800 --> 03:14.440]  Winter holidays will be disastrous for our hospital system and ultimately will mean many
[03:14.440 --> 03:23.720]  more people simply won't be with us in 2021, repeating the mistakes of Thanksgiving.
[03:23.720 --> 03:28.860]  Okay, so that gives the impression that in the state of California, you know, new daily
[03:28.860 --> 03:36.400]  infections were going along and then we had Thanksgiving and you all screwed up.
[03:36.400 --> 03:38.440]  You're all just idiots.
[03:38.440 --> 03:44.540]  If you only had the brains that Ms. Farrer had, if you only were as smart and as brilliant
[03:44.540 --> 03:53.400]  and knowledgeable and responsible as Governor Newsom, if only that were true, then when
[03:53.400 --> 03:58.800]  the new daily infections were going like this after Thanksgiving, they wouldn't go like

[04:33.780 --> 04:39.280]  The trajectory in California of new daily infections remain constant before Thanksgiving
[04:39.280 --> 04:41.120]  and after Thanksgiving.
[04:41.120 --> 04:44.440]  In other words, Ms. Farrer is full of shit.
[04:44.440 --> 04:47.440]  It wasn't your conduct during Thanksgiving.
[04:47.440 --> 04:52.340]  And the whole context of her remark was that we can't afford the same mistakes at Christmas.
[04:52.340 --> 04:56.600]  So I just want you to know, as you're hearing this nonsense, they're lying to you.

[06:18.880 --> 06:24.000]  had a mask order, the cases have continued to go up.
[06:24.000 --> 06:29.760]  As a matter of fact, up until this latest spike that you saw in the graph, before that,
[06:29.760 --> 06:34.680]  the single highest day of new daily infections in the state of California was nine weeks
[06:34.680 --> 06:37.020]  after the mask order.
[06:37.020 --> 06:39.760]  So what Farrer is trying to do is cover for the fact that in California, it's very clear
[06:39.760 --> 06:41.000]  masks aren't working.
[06:41.000 --> 06:44.880]  So instead of saying masks aren't working, she's saying you blew it at Thanksgiving.
[06:44.880 --> 06:46.400]  Don't blow it again at Christmas.

[07:16.400 --> 07:17.880]  This group almost always wore masks.
[07:18.880 --> 07:23.440]  And the percentage of people infected with SARS-CoV-2 is virtually identical.
[07:23.440 --> 07:30.240]  If you agreed at the outset that if the study group with the Schmegel vaccine and the control
[07:30.240 --> 07:36.000]  group that got a placebo, if the fact that they had virtually identical infection rates
[07:36.000 --> 07:39.740]  show that the vaccine didn't work, then the same rule has to apply when you look at these
[07:39.740 --> 07:41.500]  groups concerning masks.
[07:41.500 --> 07:44.300]  If you have groups that almost always wear a mask and another group that virtually never
[07:45.260 --> 07:50.260]  and the percentages are virtually the same, you've got to use the same logic, which is
