[00:30.220 --> 00:40.780] In an instant, Facebook wiped away 12 years of work, an audience of 145,000 followers. [00:40.780 --> 00:48.460] So you might ask, what caused Facebook such angst, such consternation, that they felt [00:48.460 --> 00:50.980] the need to unpublish the page? [00:50.980 --> 00:53.180] Now, I do want to be very clear. [00:53.180 --> 01:00.900] I realized back probably May-ish of 2020 that Facebook was having a problem with my page. [01:00.900 --> 01:05.020] I knew this because people were sending me screenshots of, say, one of my videos, and [01:05.020 --> 01:11.140] it would have something on there that would say this is incomplete or lacks context or [01:11.140 --> 01:12.820] faults or misleading. [01:12.820 --> 01:21.420] So I realized what I needed to do way back then was I needed to not just get on and say [01:21.660 --> 01:22.660] what I knew to be so. [01:22.660 --> 01:29.140] I needed to get on and provide all the data that led to my conclusions that I was sharing [01:29.140 --> 01:30.140] with the audience. [01:30.140 --> 01:33.660] So I couldn't simply say, I've looked into this, and let me share with you what's really [01:33.660 --> 01:34.660] going on. [01:34.660 --> 01:36.260] I'd just say, I've looked into this. [01:36.260 --> 01:40.980] Now, let me spend six or seven or eight minutes wasting your time going through all the data [01:40.980 --> 01:45.460] points to then tell you the conclusion so they couldn't claim faults or misleading or [01:45.460 --> 01:46.460] anything like that. [01:46.460 --> 01:49.540] On other occasions, what I didn't want to go through that, I wouldn't make it very clear. [01:49.540 --> 01:53.340] I would say Facebook moderators. [01:53.340 --> 02:01.540] This is just my personal opinion because Facebook moderators are not allowed to fact check somebody's [02:01.540 --> 02:02.860] personal opinion. [02:02.860 --> 02:05.620] So if I didn't want to go through all the time and effort and waste the audience time [02:05.620 --> 02:09.260] laying out a bunch of mundane details, I would simply say this was my opinion so they could [02:09.260 --> 02:10.260] not fact check it. [02:10.260 --> 02:12.940] Nevertheless, I knew they had a case of angst. [02:12.940 --> 02:15.540] I didn't know they were going to go this far, of course. [02:15.540 --> 02:21.020] In preparation for unpublishing the Dr. Reality page and destroying 12 years worth of work [02:21.020 --> 02:24.700] and effort, what did they say I did wrong? [02:24.700 --> 02:30.380] Well, I'm going to share with you two out of the four things that they claimed I did [02:30.380 --> 02:31.380] wrong. [02:31.380 --> 02:34.580] One of them I can't even remember now, so I printed out two because I think they're [02:34.580 --> 02:35.580] particularly interesting. [02:35.580 --> 02:38.900] I'm going to tell you about a third, but I don't even remember what the fourth one is. [02:38.900 --> 02:43.100] So the first one was a meme featuring a photograph of Hermann Göring. [02:43.100 --> 02:44.100] You may remember him. [02:44.100 --> 02:49.780] He was the Nazi Luftwaffe general and he was put on trial and at Nuremberg he made these [02:49.780 --> 02:50.780] statements. [02:50.780 --> 02:57.500] He said, naturally, the common people don't want war, neither in Russia, nor in England, [02:57.500 --> 03:00.820] nor in America, nor for that matter in Germany. [03:00.820 --> 03:02.620] That is understood. [03:02.620 --> 03:07.200] But after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy and it is always [03:07.200 --> 03:12.980] a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy or a fascist dictatorship [03:12.980 --> 03:16.980] or a parliament or a communist dictatorship. [03:16.980 --> 03:20.940] Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. [03:20.940 --> 03:22.460] That is easy. [03:22.460 --> 03:26.940] All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack [03:26.940 --> 03:30.280] of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. [03:30.280 --> 03:35.360] It works the same way in every country. [03:35.360 --> 03:37.620] So that was the quote. [03:37.620 --> 03:42.940] And Facebook said that that meme was a violation of its community standards. [03:42.940 --> 03:48.780] And by the way, I will tell you that particular community standard is something that Facebook [03:48.780 --> 03:52.680] calls dangerous individuals and organizations. [03:52.680 --> 03:56.940] So it's either a dangerous individual or a dangerous organization, or I believe in this [03:56.940 --> 03:58.980] case both. [03:58.980 --> 04:05.580] The interesting thing is that policy didn't exist until several months ago and the particular [04:05.580 --> 04:11.540] meme that I just shared the language with you from was posted two years ago when the [04:11.540 --> 04:13.980] policy did not exist. [04:13.980 --> 04:20.540] Interestingly, the second violation is also a meme concerning a Nazi, in this case, Joseph [04:20.540 --> 04:22.140] Mengele. [04:22.140 --> 04:25.460] And it was a picture of Mengele and it said the following, which was a quote of his, it [04:25.460 --> 04:33.920] says, The more we do to you, the less you seem to believe we are doing it. [04:33.920 --> 04:35.260] Now the couple of interesting things. [04:35.260 --> 04:36.580] Let me read the quote again. [04:36.580 --> 04:42.500] The more we do it to you, the less you seem to believe we are doing it. [04:42.500 --> 04:47.140] So that could be Mark Zuckerberg talking about what's happening on Facebook. [04:47.140 --> 04:49.620] But in fact, it was Joseph Mengele. [04:49.620 --> 04:52.780] Interesting that they're interchangeable, Zuckerberg and Mengele. [04:52.780 --> 04:56.300] That quote could work equally for each of them. [04:56.300 --> 05:04.540] But the interesting thing is that violation occurred nine years ago. [05:04.900 --> 05:07.780] That's when that post went up nine years ago. [05:07.780 --> 05:13.820] Now there was another one where they said I was in violation because I shared a video [05:13.820 --> 05:19.980] that lacked context, or missing context, that's the specific phrase that Facebook uses. [05:19.980 --> 05:25.280] And that video was a satire video by comedian JP Sears. [05:25.280 --> 05:31.660] So we have a couple of Nazi quotes, one from two years ago, one from nine years ago. [05:31.660 --> 05:38.660] And a missing context, I mean, I didn't do anything, I just shared the video, right? [05:38.660 --> 05:42.420] It's a satire video and then I forget the fourth one, trivial little stuff, just like [05:42.420 --> 05:43.940] the stuff I've shared with you now. [05:43.940 --> 05:45.300] So this was the justification. [05:45.300 --> 05:50.340] This is what Facebook sent me to say, we're unpublishing you. [05:50.340 --> 05:55.220] So pretty clearly, they're not unpublishing me for this. [05:55.220 --> 05:59.860] What they're unpublishing me for is my constant cutting across the grain of the establishment [05:59.860 --> 06:00.860] narrative. [06:00.860 --> 06:05.580] So somebody from the establishment will come out and say something about, I don't know, [06:05.580 --> 06:12.020] carbohydrates, saturated fat, or SARS-CoV-2, or COVID-19, or mask wearing, or vaccinations. [06:12.020 --> 06:18.460] And I'll come along and I'll say, look, okay, so this establishment wonk said X. [06:18.460 --> 06:21.300] So let's take a quick look and see if X is true. [06:21.300 --> 06:28.360] So I'll run through the data, the data published by the pharmaceutical company, or the data [06:28.360 --> 06:29.780] provided by the government. [06:30.780 --> 06:34.060] So I'll say, okay, let's go through the data, and we go through the data, and I'll go, okay, [06:34.060 --> 06:39.380] so you understand that one of two things has to be false. [06:49.820 --> 06:54.820] Why Facebook couldn't tolerate that is funny because they flagged me a couple of times [06:54.820 --> 07:00.140] for this false and misleading thing, as I said, back in April, maybe into May. [07:00.140 --> 07:05.020] So I started providing all of the data, and I think all that really did was enrage them [07:05.020 --> 07:07.420] because what they wanted me to do was shut the fuck up.
